Industrial Engineer - Supply Chain Solutions

As an Industrial Engineer specializing in Supply Chain Solutions at Fulfillment IQ (FIQ) in Bangalore, India, you will play a crucial role in designing innovative warehouse solutions for our clients. Your expertise in warehouse design, process simulation, and supply chain automation will be instrumental in creating bespoke solutions that optimize space utilization, enhance flow paths, and integrate cutting-edge technologies. Your responsibilities will include designing new layouts for distribution centers, fulfillment centers, and cross-docks, as well as retrofitting existing facilities. Using tools like FlexSim, you will model warehouse processes, simulate throughput, and conduct what-if analyses to guide data-driven decision-making. Additionally, you will work on creating detailed engineering drawings, collaborating with architecture and construction teams, and evaluating and recommending warehouse robotics for automation integration. Collaboration with tech teams and clients will be key as you participate in discovery workshops, site visits, and client calls to gather requirements and present recommendations. Your ability to document warehouse process flows, ensure alignment with WMS capabilities, and create executive-level presentations will be essential in delivering successful supply chain solutions. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field, along with at least 4-6 years of experience in warehouse design and supply chain projects. Proficiency in tools like FlexSim, AutoCAD, and Revit, as well as a solid understanding of WMS systems and warehouse processes, will be required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, are essential for success. If you have experience with data analysis tools, familiarity with warehouse IoT, vision systems, or ML-driven optimization, or prior exposure to US-based logistics or eCommerce clients, it would be considered a plus.
