You'll play a critical role in shaping our industrial costing strategies, driving efficiencies, and ensuring accurate decision-making for key projects. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (Bid Managers, Finance, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Industrial Quality), streamline costing processes, and support strategic initiatives like footprint optimization and competitiveness enhancement.

Youll specifically take care of establishing industrial costing (fixed and variable costs) and providing costing insights to support decision-making, but also standardize and automate costing processes to improve accuracy and reduce lead times.

We’ll look to you for:

• Performing industrial costing for new products, processes, or manufacturing technologies.
• Supporting tender phases by defining and validating Make or Buy assumptions.
• Standardizing industrial costing processes and automating tender workflows with templates.
• Developing and sustaining reference libraries for industrial cost standards.
• Collaborating with platform teams to define and implement PIO strategies for India.
• Contributing to the formulation of industrial strategies, including footprint optimization and cost competitiveness improvements.

• Technical education with proficiency in English (read, written, spoken).
• 10 to 12 years of experience in Process & Manufacturing Engineering, preferably in the railway industry.
• Technical expertise in process engineering, line balancing, and lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of time management, costing, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Familiarity with CAD and PLM tools such as CATIA and DELMIA.
• Strong organizational, logical thinking, and communication skills.
• A self-motivated team player with a spirit of “Team Trust Action.”
