The role available is for a Quality Assurance Lead for a web application security product in Bangalore. As a lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of all production deployments. Your main tasks will include establishing and executing a quality strategy that combines automation and manual testing effectively. You will focus on automating tests in critical areas, selecting frameworks, tests, and tools to improve test coverage and effectiveness. Additionally, you will be in charge of managing, recruiting, and leading a quality team to ensure the delivery of solid builds in a timely manner. Collaboration with development leads and program managers to align on quality strategies and release priorities will be essential. Sharing insights, solutions, and best practices within the engineering team and across different teams will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of hands-on experience, with a minimum of 4 years in an Individual Contributor (IC) role and 2 years in a leadership role. It is crucial to have prior experience in transitioning QA processes from manual to automated, being a key driver of this change. A genuine passion for Quality Assurance and software engineering is required for this role. Proficiency in software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques is essential. Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python or Java and experience with test automation frameworks are also necessary. Previous experience in API automation will be an advantage. · Promote and sell Indusface application security products – AppTrana WAF, Web Application Scanner, and related offerings in the APAC region. · Identify, research, and solicit potential clients through data mining and market research . · Engage with prospects via calls and emails to qualify leads and build strong sales pipelines. · Understand customer requirements and recommend tailored security solutions . · Prepare and deliver techno-commercial proposals aligned with client needs. · Drive sales growth by managing both new client acquisition and renewals within existing accounts. · Build and maintain long-term relationships through effective account management and after-sales support . · Identify and leverage cross-selling opportunities between SSL and product customers. · Maintain accurate records and account status in Zoho CRM and provide timely updates during bi-weekly sales meetings. · Collaborate with internal teams and perform other duties as assigned by the line manager. Required Qualifications & Skills · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field. · 5-8 years of experience in B2B sales , preferably in the IT/security/software domain. · Strong understanding of application security and SaaS-based products is a plus. · Excellent communication and negotiation skills. · Ability to build relationships with C-level executives and technical stakeholders. · Hands-on experience with CRM tools (Zoho preferred) .
