India Banking Deposits & Payments

Role Overview: You will be responsible for handling and processing financial transactions submitted on paper and through various digital channels like mobile, ATMs, Remote Deposit Capture, and lockboxes. It is crucial to ensure that all documents are accurate and keyed in as per MICR Line standards. You will review all financial transaction entries, balance debits and credits, and make necessary adjustments to resolve any discrepancies. Additionally, you must have a strong understanding of deposit operations, financial transaction processing, banking policies and procedures, as well as account opening and servicing procedures for various types of accounts. Key Responsibilities: - Handle and process financial transactions submitted on paper and through digital channels - Ensure accuracy and compliance with MICR Line standards - Review and balance debits and credits - Make necessary adjustments to resolve discrepancies - Have a domain understanding of deposit operations, financial transactions processing, and banking policies & procedures - Familiarity with account opening and servicing procedures for different types of accounts - Must be ready and flexible to work in night shifts and relocate per business needs - Proficient in MS Office suite with advanced Excel skills - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to collaborate cross-functionally Qualification Required: - Degree in finance, commerce, or business administration Additional Details: You are expected to have a degree in finance, commerce, or business administration. This role requires a strong understanding of deposit operations, financial transactions processing, and banking policies & procedures. You should be proficient in handling various types of accounts and be prepared to work in night shifts and relocate as per business requirements.
