Indesign Trainee

What is Indesign in Publishing

An InDesign Publishing job involves using Adobe InDesign to design, format, and produce print/digital materials (magazines, books, brochures, reports).

Layout & Design
: Create and format pages for print/digital books, journals, marketing materials, etc., applying styles, placing text/images, and ensuring brand consistency.
Typesetting
: Handle text formatting, pagination, and ensuring readability and visual appeal.
Content Integration
: Import, resize, and caption images, diagrams, and other media.
Collaboration
: Work with writers, editors, and production teams to meet project vision and deadlines.
Quality Check
: Perform preflight checks, proofread, and prepare final files for print or digital distribution.

Candidate Profile

Must passed out in the academic year of 2022 to 2025. Graduation or diploma courses related to indesign or graphics will be added advantage.
Strong knowledge in Adobe InDesign and Indesign tools.
knowledge of XML & HTML
Knowledge of Illustrator/Photoshop for minor image edits is desirable.
