Independence Associate 2

Role Overview: As an RSM Independence Associate 2 at RSM, your primary responsibility will be to support the Office of Risk Management in managing risk related to independence requirements set by regulatory bodies. This will involve updating the firm's independence system of record, RSM InTrust, in accordance with relevant auditor independence rules. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing training materials, job aides, and resources to assist in day-to-day activities during off-peak periods. Key Responsibilities: - Maintenance of the RSM InTrust relationships and data, including system edits - Assisting in coaching Ops team members and stakeholders on independence affiliate rules - Developing and providing job aides, training materials, and resources for team members - Identifying opportunities for process improvements within the local office Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred) or other business degree - Understanding of rules, regulations, policies, and procedures - Awareness of independence rulesets such as SEC, PCAOB, and AICPA - Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office products - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to diverse audiences - Experience in public accounting and reporting to a US-based team,
