Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

    • Gather, clean, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources.
    • Develop and implement analytical models using Python, R, or similar languages.
    • Apply machine learning techniques such as clustering, decision trees, neural networks, and Gen AI to solve business problems.
    • Perform statistical analysis including regression, distribution modeling, and hypothesis testing.
    • Work with databases (SQL) to acquire, query, and manage data environments.
    • Utilize Databricks and Spark for distributed data processing.
    • Collaborate using DevOps tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab/BitBucket.
    • Ensure compliance with data management and privacy standards.
    • Contribute to ETL processes and support integration across cloud and hybrid applications.
    • Exposure to cloud ERP systems like Workday Finance is a plus.

Skills Desirable:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
    • 3 years of experience in AI/ML is preferred
    • Knowledge of big data technologies and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.
    • Proficiency in Python, R or others.
    • Exposure to database concepts to help acquire, query, and maintain the data environment (e.g., MS SQL or others).
    • Knowledge of various machine learning techniques (e.g., clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks is a plus
    • Experience in building and maintaining data ingestion pipelines and data transformations using Databricks, etc., with knowledge of cloud technologies is a plus
    • Knowledge of advanced analytics, statistical techniques, and concepts (e.g., regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests) and experience with applications is a plus
    • Developing user friendly and interactive dashboards on Data visualization tools such as Power Bi, Tableau or others is a plus

Business Acumen:

    • Ability to learn, adopt, and apply business concepts in a short amount of time.
    • Develop solutions using technical and business domain knowledge.

Communication & Presentation:

    • Strong communication skills and a desire to work in a team environment.
    • Experience communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
