Job Description

Ensure proper endorsement of the patient at each shift.
To prepare duty rosters for every 30 days.
Equip the ward with all the necessary materials and equipments medical and surgical, stationary etc.
Maintain documents related to stock held in the wards.
Check the drug order daily.
Check pre/post-operative care of patients and orders.
Informing about the patient condition to the consultants.
Issue of drugs, materials and the other consumables for the patients before discharge.
Ensure that the sterilization activities and to have adequate sterile dressing materials and instruments in ward.
Coordinate with the administration team about admission and discharge procedures.
To take care of the condemnation of materials and maintaining documents.
Coordinate with the other departmental activities should be related to the health care services of the patients.
Maintain all registers related to the nursing care.
Participates and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.
To adhere the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient safety and staff safety rules.
Perform any work as and when assigned by superior
Periodical stock verification and tallying with the medicines
