Key Responsibilities:
• Data Modeling: Design, develop, and implement robust data models within Microsoft Fabric to support business analytics and reporting requirements. • Data Integration: Work on integrating diverse data sources (structured and unstructured) into the Fabric ecosystem for seamless data flow and transformation. • Performance Optimization: Tune and optimize the performance of data models, ensuring fast and efficient querying, data processing, and storage. • Collaboration: Partner with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure that data models meet business needs and technical specifications. • Best Practices: Implement industry best practices for data modeling, data governance, and data quality assurance within the Microsoft Fabric environment. • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and concise documentation of data models, processes, and methodologies. Provide regular reports and updates on model performance and enhancements. • Automation & CI/CD: Leverage automation tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline model deployment and maintenance. • Troubleshooting & Support: Troubleshoot data modeling issues and provide timely support for ongoing projects or system performance concerns. • Training & Knowledge Sharing: Share your knowledge and expertise in Microsoft Fabric with the wider data team, supporting ongoing training and development.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. • Proven experience working with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Fabric Data Pipeline, Azure Data Factory, or similar technologies. • Strong background in data modeling (Dimensional, Relational, Data Warehousing, OLAP cubes). • Hands-on experience with SQL, DAX, and other relevant data query languages. • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data pipeline design. • Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure and related services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database). • In-depth understanding of data governance, security, and best practices in cloud data management. • Solid experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and optimize complex data solutions. • Ability to work through complex modeling and security issues
Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or related certifications. • Experience with Power BI report/dashboard development and integration. • Knowledge of Data Science concepts and working with large-scale datasets. • Familiarity with Data Lake and Data Warehouse design and optimization. • Understanding of DevOps principles and integration in data engineering practices.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, DAX, Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Data Modeling Tools. • Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into efficient data models. • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Collaboration: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders. • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in designing scalable, efficient, and well-documented data models. • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines.
