Key Responsibilities

Data Modeling & Dashboard Development

• Design and develop

  Power BI dashboards and reports

  based on

  star schema models

  .
• Optimize data models for performance and scalability, leveraging

  Power BI features

  such as

  aggregations, calculated columns, and DAX measures

  .
• Create interactive, user-friendly dashboards to support

  data-driven decision-making

  .

Enterprise Data Modeling

• Follow enterprise guidelines to build

  consistent, reusable, and governed

  data models.
• Collaborate with

  data engineers and architects

  to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.

Agile Methodology & Project Management

• Work within

  Agile frameworks

  , actively participating in

  sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

  .
• Utilize

  Azure DevOps (ADO)

  for task management, tracking progress, and reporting issues.

Performance Optimization

• Optimize dashboards and reports for

  fast load times and efficient data refreshes

  .
• Implement

  row-level security (RLS)

  to ensure proper access to sensitive data.

Documentation & Communication

• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including

  Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), technical documentation, and user guides

  .
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to

  gather requirements, present solutions, and collect feedback

  .

Qualifications

• Experience:

  68 years in

  Power BI development

  with a focus on

  data modeling (star schema) and communication

  .

• Technical Skills:

• Proficient in

  Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M language)

  .
• Strong understanding of

  data warehousing principles and ETL processes

  .
• Hands-on experience in

  performance optimization

  .
• Familiarity with

  Azure DevOps (ADO)

  for task management.

• Certifications:

  Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst (preferred).

• Methodology:

  Agile and/or Scrum certification (preferred).

• Soft Skills:

  Strong

  problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
