Role & responsibilities Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Python Backend Developer to lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python and backend development, with a proven ability to build scalable, secure, and efficient applications. Key Responsibilities: Backend Development: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust backend systems using Python. Integration with Frontend: Collaborate closely with the frontend team to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. Performance Optimization: Ensure applications are highly responsive and optimized for performance. Data Security & Storage: Implement secure data storage solutions to protect sensitive information. Feature Development: Work with the team to design, develop, and introduce new features. Code Quality & Best Practices: Maintain high code quality, organization, and alignment with industry best practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with designers, developers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into functional solutions. API Development: Design and develop RESTful APIs for smooth communication between software components. Database Management: Design efficient database structures, write optimized queries, and ensure data integrity. Algorithm & Data Structures: Implement efficient algorithms and data structures for optimal functionality and performance. Debugging & Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues in Python code and applications. Preferred candidate profile Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python and backend development. Strong expertise in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI . Proficiency in designing and maintaining relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases. Experience in writing optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance tuning . Expertise in developing scalable and secure RESTful APIs . Hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture and distributed systems. Proficiency in Kubernetes (K8s) and container orchestration using Docker . Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Familiarity with asynchronous programming, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and CI/CD pipelines . Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize code for performance.
