Job Description

Role Description: ViaPlus, for their global Helpdesk operations is looking for IT System Administrators with 2-4 years of experience, who has a deep passion in End User computing and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will participate in troubleshooting End user system issues with Level 1 and Level 2 support for Laptops, Desktops, Operating system and other Applications. He/ She will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining uptime of end user systems. He/ She will be coordinating with multiple teams to ensure that SLAs for Helpdesk are met as per the laid down process. Should have good spoken and written skills and must be flexible to work in shifts. Roles & Responsibility: Handling the Laptop/desktop Software and Hardware issues. Installing and upgrading Operating systems and computer software. Troubleshooting networking and connection issues. Handling AD issues. IT Asset Inventory management End User Security application like EDR, Antivirus, Disk Encryption and other end point protection. Managing and Monitoring Helpdesk system and Monthly Reports. Troubleshooting O365 end user Products Email configuration and Troubleshooting VPN end user connectivity trouble shooting, installation and configuration Software and application installation for project and Development Team Coordinating with OEMs for Hardware service tickets Coordinating with Vendors on ISP link issues, Power and UPS issues. Good Interpersonal skills and desire to gain and share knowledge. L1/L2 Incident management process and ticket handling Documenting the tickets with resolution steps Must Have: Good understanding of Computer System Hardware and Software, Peripherals and other devices. Good knowledge of Windows 11 OS Sound knowledge on LAN / WAN / Wi-Fi Networking fundamentals Fair understanding of Security and Encryption of Disk drives Able to troubleshoot issues by connecting remotely to end users. Basic Carrier Level Trouble shooting and working with Vendors on L1/L2 Support Daily Backup Monitoring and Reporting. Strong communication skills (written & verbal) Good to have: Any Certification for Network and Windows Cloud and Server Operating Knowledge Networking Concepts and OSI Layers Networking Devices basic Knowledge Level 1 Trouble shooting for Servers. Fair understanding on Mac OS & troubleshooting skills.
