Job Description

Job Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Automation Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Selenium , Java , Cucumber , BDD , and API testing . The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust automated test suites for UI and backend APIs, contributing to a scalable and high-quality test automation strategy. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java . Build and enhance BDD test frameworks using Cucumber and Gherkin . Perform API testing using tools like Postman , RestAssured , or similar. Design test plans, test cases, and test data for both UI and backend systems. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in Agile teams to define acceptance criteria. Report and track defects using tools like JIRA . Continuously improve test coverage, tools, and processes. Required Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java for automation. Proficient in Cucumber , Gherkin , and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) . Solid experience in API testing using Postman , RestAssured , or similar tools. Familiarity with test frameworks like JUnit or TestNG . Experience with Page Object Model (POM) and reusable test automation components. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git . Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
