IIOT Architect

Your role will involve leading the design of software architecture in the IIOT domain to integrate on-premises devices with the Azure cloud, emphasizing data flow, security, and reliability. You will be responsible for implementing end-to-end architecture using Azure services like IoT Hub, IoT Edge, Event Hub, Azure Functions, Azure Blob Storage, and Cosmos DB to securely transmit and store image data and metadata from on-premises devices to the cloud. Additionally, you will oversee the deployment of a computer vision model on Azure Machine Learning for image processing and defect detection. Collaborating with front-end and back-end teams, you will design a MERN stack-based application to visualize captured data and provide users with an intuitive interface for interacting with on-premise devices. Your responsibilities will also include implementing Azure AD/Okta based authentication and authorization mechanisms for secure access to the application and data, as well as providing technical guidance and mentorship to the offshore development team. Success in this role will require close collaboration with stakeholders, software developers, and project managers to ensure project delivery. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for the architecture, design, and implementation of the solution.
