IELTS Trainer

Responsibilities

• Lesson design and delivery: Create and conduct engaging, results-oriented training sessions for individuals or groups, either in-person or online.
• Assessment and feedback: Evaluate student performance through regular practice tests and mock exams. Provide constructive, personalized feedback to help them address their weaknesses.
• Curriculum development: Develop and curate effective teaching materials, lesson plans, and resources tailored to students' specific needs.
• Progress tracking: Monitor student advancement toward their desired band scores and implement strategies to ensure their continued improvement.
• Exam expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest IELTS exam formats, assessment criteria, and official band descriptors from institutions like the British Council and IDP.
• Test-taking strategies: Equip students with effective techniques for managing their time, answering different question types, and performing well in all modules.
• Student support: Cultivate a positive and motivating learning environment, helping students build confidence in their language abilities.
• Communication skills: Clearly communicate complex grammar and vocabulary concepts to students of varying proficiency levels.
• Administrative tasks: Handle tasks such as scheduling sessions, maintaining records of student performance, and communicating with the management.

Skills and qualifications

• Language proficiency: Excellent command of the English language, including fluency, grammar, and pronunciation. We prefer candidates who have a high personal IELTS score.
• IELTS trainer certification: Completion of a specialized IELTS trainer certification program is beneficial for demonstrating expertise.
• Experience: Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, particularly in English as a second language (ESL) or IELTS preparation.
• Education: A bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Soft skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability, patience, and the ability to motivate diverse learners.
• Technical knowledge: Proficiency with online teaching platforms like Zoom or Google Meet is essential.

Job Type: Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹20,305.11 - ₹38,250.33 per month
