Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Manage
GST compliance
registrations, returns, reconciliations, and filings.
Handle
Customs, Excise, VAT (if applicable)
and other indirect tax matters.
Provide
advisory support
on GST implications for business transactions.
Represent the company in
tax audits, assessments, and litigation
.
Monitor changes in IDT laws and evaluate business impact.
Ensure proper documentation for
refund claims, input tax credit, and trade compliances
.
Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams to ensure tax accuracy in contracts and transactions.
Support in preparing
management reports, tax MIS, and dashboards
.

Required Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA Qualified)
.
3–7 years of post-qualification experience in
Indirect Taxation (IDT)
.
Strong knowledge of
GST laws, Customs, Excise, and other indirect taxes
.
Familiarity with
tax litigation procedures
and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Competencies

Excellent understanding of
tax laws & compliance frameworks
.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to handle
multiple priorities under strict deadlines
.
Proficiency in
ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Office
.
