ICU Nurse

The ICU Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit. The nurse will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and provide support to patients’ families while maintaining the highest standards of safety and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuously monitor patient vital signs and recognize early signs of complications.
• Administer medications, intravenous infusions, blood products, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Assist in emergency procedures such as CPR, intubation, and code blue situations.
• Assessment & Documentation:
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all assigned patients.
• Document patient progress accurately in medical records.
• Update care plans based on patient condition changes.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients’ families, offering emotional support and updates on patient status.
• Equipment & Safety:
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced life-support equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.
• Follow hospital protocols for infection control, medication administration, and patient safety.
• Professional Development:
• Participate in ongoing education, training sessions, and simulations to stay current with ICU best practices.
• Mentor and precept junior nursing staff or students as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
