ICT Expert (Agriculture Sector)

Qualification Requirements:

• BS and MS Agricultural or
• BS and MS Master in computer science/ computer application/information technology/geoinformatics

Experience:

• 5 years' work experience in managing the Development of MIS, GIS system and ICT related environment.
• 5 years' work experience in any National/Foreign funded project in designing
• Conceptual frameworks of MIS/ GIS system and other software/application related to collection, storage and dissemination of Agriculture Information.

Major Tasks and Duties:

• Support and coordinate with MIS/GIS expert in developing conceptual design of MIS & GIS system to be established under PMU/DOA and overall developing of framework for digitalization of PMU internal working environment
• Support in developing agriculture sector customized software and common digital platforms for collection, storage, retrieval and dissemination of Agriculture information among stakeholders.
• Implementation of TOT to DOA/ PMU staff related to subject matter of project implementation plan.
• Assist in planning and monitoring of project progress using ICT tools
