The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing close ties with existing and potential clients, and executing strategies to grow customer base. Day-to-day tasks include client meetings, preparing business proposals, conducting market research, maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with the marketing team to develop marketing strategies. The role also involves setting targets and ensuring the company's growth objectives are accomplished. Professional Experience 3–7 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or client relationship management (preferably in interior design, lighting, architecture, or construction industry). Strong network with architects, interior designers, contractors, builders, and corporate clients . Track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Skills Required Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Understanding of design concepts, lighting products, and project execution cycles . Ability to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into long-term clients. Strong project coordination and client relationship management skills. Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms . Other Requirements Willingness to travel for site visits, client meetings, and industry networking events . Good sense of aesthetics and design awareness to understand client needs. Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently as well as in a team.
