As an HVAC/Refrigeration technician with a Diploma in Electrical or Electrician, you will play a crucial role in coordinating field activities within the service division. Your responsibilities will involve engaging with customers over the phone to assess the urgency of service requests, scheduling field personnel for preventive maintenance tasks, service repairs, and replacements. Your key duties will include creating and managing work orders for preventative maintenance and service repairs, responding to emergency service calls, procuring necessary parts for repairs, estimating costs for customer inquiries, reviewing field-generated paperwork for invoicing, and collaborating effectively within a team environment. To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional communication and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in the Commercial or Industrial HVAC sector is essential. This position requires understanding of Engineering concepts, Manufacturing process Applicable for Refrigeration & Ice Maker unit. Roles and Responsibilities Develop Top-Down design assembly ,3D CAD models and manufacturing drawings for sheet metal, plastic, and stainless steel components. Expertise in plastic design and foreseeing potential failure in manufacturing and take necessary design actions. Design mechanical assemblies for evaporators, water distribution systems, and structural frames. Optimize designs for durability, corrosion resistance, and thermal efficiency. Support prototype builds, fit-and-finish checks, and mechanical validation tests. Design and size refrigeration circuits including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion devices. Perform thermodynamic calculations and refrigeration cycle analysis. Work with suppliers to ensure manufacturability and cost optimization.
