Job Description

As an I & C Design Engineer based in Chennai, your primary responsibility will be field instrument design. You should have experience in preparing and reviewing various design deliverables including Design Basis, Instrument Index and I/O List, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument & Control system Specifications, Panel component selection & layout, Installation drawings and Hookups, Instrument Location Layouts, Cable Tray layouts, Control room layouts, Cable and Junction Box Schedule, Wiring and Interconnection drawings, Loop Wiring Diagram, MTO, Tender, etc. You will also be involved in inter-disciplinary activities such as P&ID review, 3-D Model review, IDR/IDC. It is essential to have hands-on experience in conducting design calculations like Instrument Sizing, Control Valve Sizing (InstruCalc, CONVAL), Flow meter sizing, Air and power consumption calculations, and Thermowell Wake freq. calculations. Your expertise in the above-mentioned areas will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of projects and meeting design requirements effectively.,
