Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design and develop custom solutions using Sterling OMS APIs, Java, and XSLT.
Configure and optimize order orchestration, sourcing, and fulfillment flows.
Integrate OMS with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and messaging queues.
Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis for L3 support.
Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and performance tuning.
Collaborate with architects and business analysts for solution design.
Mentor junior developers and participate in agile ceremonies.
Maintain technical documentation and ensure security compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling OMS development and customization.
Strong proficiency in Java, XSLT, XML, and integration frameworks (REST/SOAP, JMS).
Deep understanding of order lifecycle, inventory management, and fulfillment processes.
Experience working in Agile teams with version control and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Maven).
Proven track record in performance tuning and resolving production issues (L3 support).
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with mentoring experience preferred.
IBM Sterling OMS certification or experience with Sterling Store Engagement is a plus.
