IB DP Coordinator

As the Diploma Programme (DP) Coordinator at Lady Andal IB School, you will play a pivotal role in leading and developing the IB Diploma Programme for Grades 11 and 12. Lady Andal School, an IB-authorized World School for the PYP, is committed to providing high-quality and challenging international education to nurture holistic individuals in a joyful learning environment. Your primary responsibilities will include establishing and overseeing the implementation of the IB Diploma Programme in alignment with the IB DP Programme Standards and Practices. You will collaborate closely with school leadership to ensure a successful launch of the programme and build a team of dedicated educators to support its operation. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and develop the IB Diploma Programme within the school. - Collaborate with school leadership to ensure a successful launch of the programme. - Ensure correct implementation of the IB DP programme in alignment with standards. - Build a team of educators committed to the success of the programme. - Create and maintain an IB DP handbook. - Stay updated on IB guidelines and recommend curriculum improvements. - Conduct orientation sessions for newly appointed IB DP staff. - Organize Professional Development opportunities for teachers. - Coordinate with administration for logistical requirements of the programme. - Engage parents through orientation programmes to garner support for the IB DP. - Develop and execute marketing strategies for the IB DP. Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in education or a related field. - Master's degree and/or IB certification (MYP/DP). - Extensive experience in an IB/international school setting. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in DP/MYP programmes.
