Hydraulic Technician – Turbine Valve Systems

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to support the servicing and testing of servo actuators, PRVs, NRVs, and associated hydraulic components in turbine governing and stop valve systems. The role involves hands-on execution of pressure testing, seal replacement, and functional validation of hydraulic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

•       Perform detailed inspection and servicing of hydraulic actuators and cylinders

•       Pressure test and functionally validate PRVs, NRVs, orifices, and cut-off valves

•       Replace seals, O-rings, and valve seats as per OEM standards

•       Assist in stroke calibration and valve commissioning activities

•       Maintain the cleanliness and safety of hydraulic work zones

•       Document test results and support client inspection protocols

Required Skills & Experience:

•       ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or Hydraulic Engineering

•       Minimum 5 years of experience in hydraulic systems, preferably in turbine or valve applications

•       Proficiency in pressure testing, leak detection, and seal replacement

•       Familiarity with hydraulic rigs, fittings, and test instruments

•       Ability to read hydraulic schematics and follow SOPs

•       Strong attention to detail and safety compliance

Additional Requirements:

•       Willingness to work on-site during AOH shutdown

•       Experience with servo actuator systems and turbine valve hydraulics

•       Commitment to documentation and housekeeping standards
