- Creating, developing, and optimizing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
-Prepare detailed schematics, blueprints, 3D models, bills of materials (BOM), and technical specifications for construction.
-Perform heat load calculations, energy modeling, and system simulation to determine optimal HVAC solutions.
-Size ductwork, piping, pumps, and fans based on calculated CFM.
-Responsible for design/review and Coordination with consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors for the implementation of all MEP functions and discipline required for the project to integrate HVAC systems within building designs.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable local, state, national, and international codes and standards.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) teams, and other stakeholders to integrate systems and resolve design conflicts.
-Plan the design schedules & preparation of status reports.
-Review the design and submit it to the client for implementation
- Attending meeting with client/consultant review of solution.
-Coordinate with site installation and testing & commissioning team
Candidates should have hands on experience in MEP design in HVAC.
