Purpose of Job Profile

Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform comprehensive deep-dive data analyses of business processes and HR service delivery, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with strategic objectives.
  2. Good degree of proficiency in Power BI and Power Query (Visualization, data modelling and data transformation, knowledge of DAX function).
  3. High degree of proficiency in MS Excel (strong knowledge of pivot tables, data sorting, filters, etc). Ability to develop complex models and data structures, including macros.
  4. Develop, design, and maintain robust data models, dashboards, and visual reports that translate complex datasets into insights to inform senior leaders decision-making.
  5. Provide expert recommendations by interpreting trends, identifying root causes, and proposing practical solutions for business challenges to key stakeholders, including executives and cross-functional leaders.
  6. Act as a strategic partner in HR transformation and service delivery projects, ensuring all data-driven initiatives are aligned with organizational goals and best practices.
  7. Collaborate proactively with internal and external stakeholders—including business units, corporate project teams, and third-party vendors—to ensure seamless project execution and HR service excellence.
  8. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the organization’s data and analytics portfolio, building new data products and supporting digital transformation across Global People Services.
  9. Provide support to the Leadership Team in driving strategic initiatives.
  10. Successfully manage and deliver high-priority projects, exceeding quality standards and meeting Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  11. Collaborate with key stakeholders to perform requirement analysis, define KPIs, and establish reporting, governance, and escalation mechanisms.
  12. Ensure adherence to Ericsson’s ways of working, processes, work instructions, and governance.

Qualifications:

  1. Possess a minimum of a Post Graduate Degree or equivalent in any field from a Tier II college/university.
  2. Have at least 4-7 years of experience working on data analysis with global stakeholders.
  3. Proficiency in advanced MS Excel and Power BI
  4. Preferably hold any credible data analytics certifications, like one or more of the following:
  5. Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  6. HRCI Certificate in Data Analytics
