As an HR System Specialist Data Analyst at Astellas, your responsibilities and accountabilities will include: - Coordinating and executing mass data uploads into the SuccessFactors system with a focus on accuracy, compliance, smooth integration, and minimal disruption to operations. - Managing and implementing organizational structure changes, such as department restructures, reporting line updates, and job/position mapping. - Analyzing, cleaning, validating, and transforming data from different sources to support system updates and bulk processing. - Developing and maintaining tools, templates, and scripts to streamline mass upload and data transformation processes. - Collaborating with various HR teams, DigitalX, and Business Operations teams to gather requirements, test system changes, and verify data integrity post-load. - Supporting change initiatives by ensuring the accurate reflection of structural updates in the core HR System and any integrated systems/tools. - Maintaining documentation on data processes, load procedures, and technical instructions for future reference. - Identifying opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency in data handling. - Ensuring compliance with internal data governance and security protocols. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or data operations role, preferably involving mass data handling or system updates. - Proven experience working with large datasets and tools for data manipulation (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, or data transformation platforms). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Experience in preparing data for uploads using templates, macros, or automated tools. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Familiarity with change management or transformation projects involving structural reorganizations. - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, VBA) for automation of repetitive tasks. - Strong documentation and process-mapping skills.
