HR System Specialist Data Analyst

Role Overview: As an HR System Specialist Data Analyst at Astellas, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and executing mass data uploads into the SuccessFactors system. Your responsibilities will include managing organizational structure changes, analyzing and transforming data, collaborating with different teams, and ensuring compliance with internal data governance and security protocols. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and execute mass data uploads into the SuccessFactors system, ensuring accuracy, compliance, smooth integration, and minimal disruption to operations. - Manage and implement organizational structure changes, including department restructures, reporting line updates, and job/position mapping. - Analyse, clean, validate, and transform data from various sources to support system updates and bulk processing. - Develop and maintain tools, templates, and scripts to streamline mass upload and data transformation processes. - Collaborate with different HR teams, DigitalX, and Business Operations teams to gather requirements, test system changes, and verify data integrity post-load. - Support change initiatives by ensuring accurate reflection of structural updates in the core HR System and any integrated systems/tools. - Maintain documentation on data processes, load procedures, and technical instructions for future reference. - Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and increased efficiency in data handling. - Ensure compliance with internal data governance and security protocols. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in a data analyst or data operations role, preferably involving mass data handling or system updates. - Proven experience working with large datasets and tools for data manipulation (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, or data transformation platforms). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Experience in preparing data for uploads using templates, macros, or automated tools. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
