HR Executive (Recruitment)

About the Company

Octaga Green Power and Sugar Co. Ltd. is engaged in the alcoholic beverages industry, with a portfolio of brands and business operations across multiple functions. We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented HR Executive to manage recruitment activities and support the company's growing hiring requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

• Handle end-to-end recruitment for multiple departments, including sales and marketing, accounts, operations, hospitality, administration, IT and manufacturing.
• Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, employee referrals and other recruitment channels.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial telephonic interviews to assess candidate suitability.
• Understand job requirements from management and prepare effective job descriptions.
• Schedule interviews, coordinate with candidates and hiring managers, and follow up regularly.
• Negotiate salary expectations within approved budgets and coordinate offer rollouts.
• Follow up with selected candidates until they join the company.
• Maintain a pipeline of suitable candidates for current and future vacancies.

2. Recruitment Tracking & Reporting

• Maintain daily recruitment trackers, candidate databases and interview schedules.
• Share daily hiring updates with management, including vacancies, shortlisted candidates, interviews, selections and expected joining dates.
• Monitor recruitment targets and work towards closing vacancies within the required timelines.
• Identify cost-effective and free recruitment platforms to reduce hiring expenses.
• Coordinate with recruitment agencies when required.

3. HR Operations & Documentation

• Coordinate joining formalities and collect employee documents.
• Prepare offer letters, appointment letters and other HR-related documents using approved formats.
• Maintain employee records and recruitment-related documentation.
• Assist with attendance, leave records, employee follow-ups and other routine HR activities as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Human Resources will be an advantage.
• 1–3 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition preferred.
• Freshers with excellent communication skills and strong recruitment aptitude may also apply.
• Hands-on experience with job portals and candidate sourcing.
• Good communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, email and recruitment trackers.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and meet hiring deadlines.
• A proactive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is active in sourcing, confident on calls, consistent with follow-ups and focused on actual joining rather than just sharing CVs. The candidate should be comfortable recruiting for different job profiles and working directly with management to fulfil hiring requirements.
