Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to manage and oversee the cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep of the school campus. The role requires strong leadership, a proactive approach, and the ability to maintain high standards of sanitation in all school areas.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and lead the housekeeping staff, ensuring all assigned duties are completed efficiently.
Prepare daily/weekly cleaning schedules for classrooms, washrooms, corridors, labs, offices, playgrounds, and other designated areas.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained as per school norms.
Coordinate deep cleaning activities during vacations, events, and special occasions.
Ensure proper usage, storage, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and materials.
Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and place requisitions as required.
Train and guide housekeeping staff on effective cleaning techniques, safety, and hygiene protocols.
Address and resolve any housekeeping-related issues reported by teachers, staff, or administration.
Ensure compliance with safety, security, and sanitation guidelines.
Report to the Admin Manager/Principal regularly regarding housekeeping status and requirements.

Eligibility & Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in a school, hospital, or institutional setup.
Ability to manage a team and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, materials, and hygiene protocols.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Physically fit and able to manage on-ground supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
