Job Description

Responsibilities of an office boy in a tile showroom: Inventory and handling: Assist with receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming stock, which can include heavy items like granite slabs and tiles. Showroom maintenance: Help maintain the showroom's cleanliness and organization. This includes keeping the display areas tidy and ensuring all tiles are correctly stacked and labeled. Loading and packing: Assist in loading products for delivery and help with packing and labeling finished goods. General office support: Perform basic office tasks such as delivering and collecting mail and packages, managing office supplies, and helping to prepare meeting rooms. Assisting staff: Provide general support to other team members as needed, ensuring the showroom runs smoothly and efficiently. Hygiene and maintenance: Mechanized cleaning teams ensure the floors are scrubbed and polished to remove dirt and stains. The use of professional-grade cleaning solutions and sanitizers to keep the space germ-free and fresh. Specific attention is paid to cleaning the skirting and grout lines to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Display and presentation: "Hero tiles" are prominently displayed to draw attention. A strategic layout that avoids "cold areas" (areas that are poorly lit or have poor circulation). Easy-to-handle displays that allow customers to interact with the products.
