Institution: International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM), Goa
Position: Housekeeping Faculty

• Education: Masters / Degree in Hotel Management or related field.
• Experience: 3 to 4 years of industry experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Housekeeping Operations, Cleaning Science, Laundry Operations, Guestroom Management, and Public Area Maintenance.
• Conduct theory and practical sessions as per the curriculum.
• Train students in bed-making, room setup, cleaning techniques, linen handling, and use of housekeeping equipment.
• Prepare lesson plans, PPTs, demonstrations, and training materials.
• Evaluate students through assignments, practical exams, and viva.
• Maintain attendance, academic records, and performance reports.
• Ensure the housekeeping lab is neat, organised, and maintained.
• Support students in events, competitions, and industrial training preparation.
• Collaborate with academic and placement teams for student development.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and hotel standards.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Professional grooming and positive attitude.
