Job Description

Operational Duties:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including cleaning lobby area, washroom and kitchen area.
  • Ensure all cleaning procedures, checklists, and schedules are followed consistently.
  • Coordinate daily cleaning and pest control assignments and special cleaning projects.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.

Administrative & Supervisory Duties:

  • Train, motivate, and evaluate housekeeping team members to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
  • Maintain housekeeping records, including attendance, supplies, maintenance requests, and inspection reports.
  • Monitor and control inventory of cleaning supplies, linen, and guest amenities.
  • Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate staffing levels based on occupancy and operational needs.
  • Assist in budgeting and cost control by managing resource usage efficiently.

Health, Safety, and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards as per company policies and local regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety briefings and training for staff.
  • Report maintenance issues and follow up to ensure timely repairs.
