Housekeeping Associate

The Housekeeping Associate is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and the overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas in accordance with the hotel’s standards. The role ensures a pleasant and hygienic environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and arrange guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas as per standard procedures.
• Replace linens, towels, and guest amenities in rooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Replenish supplies such as toiletries, drinking glasses, and minibar items (if applicable).
• Handle guest requests courteously and promptly.
• Maintain proper usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ensure all assigned areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained at all times.
• Follow departmental procedures regarding lost and found items.
• Follow health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Attend training sessions and daily briefings as scheduled.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel environment is an advantage
• Physically fit and able to handle repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
