Housekeeping Assistant & Room Attendant

Job Description: The Housekeeping Assistant / Room Attendant role in the Housekeeping department of a Hotel or Resort Property involves maintaining high cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas. Your responsibility includes cleaning and setting up guest rooms daily, changing bed linens, replenishing amenities, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms thoroughly. You should promptly respond to guest requests, maintain a professional attitude, and ensure guest property is handled with care. It is crucial to follow health, safety, and hygiene standards, adhere to operational duties, and possess strong attention to detail, time-management, and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: - Clean, tidy, and set up guest rooms daily according to hotel standards - Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest amenities - Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and clean windows as required - Maintain cleanliness in hallways, elevators, lobbies, and other public areas - Respond promptly to guest requests and maintain a friendly attitude - Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards - Ensure all assigned rooms are cleaned within the designated time frame - Manage laundry delivery and collection as needed - Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions Qualifications & Experience: - High school education or equivalent preferred - Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning (preferably in the hotel industry) is an advantage - Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures is desirable Benefits: - Health insurance - Provident Fund,
