Housekeeper

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. The role ensures that all areas are neat, tidy, and well-maintained to enhance guest satisfaction and overall service quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned public areas according to company standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish guest supplies as required.
• Maintain the cleanliness of corridors, stairways, and service areas.
• Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Ensure proper usage, storage, and care of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Follow hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist with laundry and linen management as required.
• Provide courteous and professional assistance to guests when approached.
• Support the housekeeping team in deep-cleaning and special projects.

Requirements

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning preferred (hospitality experience is an advantage).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to handle manual tasks and long working hours.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
