Hotel Underwriter (Remote)

As our Hotel Underwriter/Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our investment strategy—digging into the numbers, uncovering market potential, and helping decide which projects make the cut. You’ll underwrite hotel developments, renovations, and conversions, running the financials that will shape millions of dollars in investments.

If analyzing ADR trends, scoping comps, assessing construction budgets, and calculating cap rates excites you, this is where you’ll thrive. We provide training to sharpen your skills, but you’ll bring the experience and instincts to hit the ground running.

What You’ll Do

• Spot profitable opportunities in hotel acquisitions and developments.
• Build rock-solid financial models to forecast returns and risk.
• Dive deep into market research—comps, ADRs, RevPAR, occupancy trends.
• Analyze construction and renovation budgets for real-world feasibility.
• Prepare investment memos that turn complex data into clear decisions.
• Collaborate with acquisitions, asset management, and finance teams.

What You Bring

• Experience underwriting hotel investments—developments, renovations, and conversions.
• A strong grasp of key hospitality metrics (RevPAR, ADR, cap rates, occupancy).
• Bachelor’s in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Hospitality, or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills and a head for numbers.
• Analytical rigor + the creativity to see opportunity where others don’t.
