Job Description

A front office assistant's responsibilities include:

Greeting visitors: Welcoming visitors and clients, and providing information about the business
Handling administrative tasks: Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and updating filing systems
Providing customer service: Answering questions, addressing complaints, and taking orders
Managing communications: Answering and directing phone calls, and forwarding messages
Handling mail: Opening, sorting, and routing incoming mail, and preparing outgoing mail
Operating office equipment: Using photocopiers, scanners, and other office machines
Maintaining records: Compiling, copying, and filing records of business transactions and office activities
Ensuring a positive impression: Creating a positive first impression for visitors and ensuring smooth communication
