Job Summary: The Hotel Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. The receptionist is responsible for managing reservations, handling inquiries, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: Guest Services: Greet guests warmly upon arrival. Assist with check-in and check-out processes. Provide information about hotel services and local attractions. Address guest inquiries and resolve complaints promptly. Reservations Management: Manage room bookings through the hotel’s reservation system. Process cancellations and modifications as needed. Ensure accurate billing and payment processing. Administrative Tasks: Maintain an organized and efficient front desk area. Handle incoming calls and emails professionally. Prepare and maintain reports related to occupancy and revenue. Collaboration: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction. Communicate special requests or issues to relevant departments. Compliance: Adhere to hotel policies and procedures. Maintain guest confidentiality and security. Qualifications: Any Degree, High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality training is a plus. Previous 2 year experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Proficient in using reservation systems and basic computer software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Working Conditions: Fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests. May able to make tea/coffee for guest incase of pantry staff absence.
