Role summary

The Hotel Management Teacher is responsible for delivering high-quality education to students pursuing a career in the hospitality industry. They play a crucial role in shaping the future of students by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and industry insights necessary for success in the hotel management sector.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of a Hotel Management Teacher include curriculum development and delivery, such as developing and delivering course content and conducting lectures, seminars, workshops, and practical sessions. They also develop and update course curricula and instructional materials, plan training activities including field trips and industry visits, and conduct orientation sessions. Other responsibilities involve student assessment and guidance through examinations, assignments, and practical evaluations, providing academic advising and mentorship, and focusing on student development needs. Additionally, they engage with the industry and conduct research by staying updated on trends and advancements, coordinating with industry professionals for student opportunities, collaborating with industry partners, and contributing to academic publications. Institutional contributions include participating in departmental meetings and curriculum planning, and ensuring activities align with the organization's vision. Depending on specialization, they may also conduct training in areas like front office operations, food and beverage service, and housekeeping.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fresher, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
