As a Hot Forging Inspector, your role involves inspecting hot-forged components to ensure compliance with standards. You will be responsible for examining dies for wear, cracks, and defects, recommending corrective actions. Utilizing precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, CMM, and hardness testers will be part of your daily tasks to assess accuracy. Monitoring the forging process and identifying as well as resolving quality issues will be crucial in ensuring the production meets the required standards. Your qualifications and skills should include a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in hot forging and die inspection is necessary for this role. You should possess a strong knowledge of forging processes and die maintenance to effectively carry out your responsibilities.
