Job Description

Dr. A. Ramachandran’s Diabetes Hospital, Guindy, is looking for a courteous and efficient Hospital Receptionist to manage front office operations and provide excellent patient service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a polite and professional manner
• Register patients and issue OPD tokens
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule doctor appointments
• Handle incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department
• Maintain patient records and front office documentation
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and billing staff
• Provide information about hospital services and consultation timings
• Handle patient enquiries and concerns effectively
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards

Requirements

• Any Degree / Diploma preferred
• Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Hospital Management Software)
• Good communication skills in English and Tamil
• Pleasant personality with a patient-friendly attitude

Work Schedule

• Morning / Evening / Night shifts (rotational)
