Job Description

Front Office Responsibilities

  • Patient and Visitor Interaction: Greet and assist patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, serving as the first point of contact.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle inquiries about services, appointments, and clinic policies.
  • Communication: Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle correspondence.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with filing, photocopying, data entry, and maintaining patient records and files.
  • Reception Area: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

Billing Responsibilities

  • Bill Preparation: Prepare accurate patient bills for various services, including OPD, IPD, and diagnostics, by checking treatment records.
  • Payment Processing: Process payments from various sources (cash, card, UPI, insurance) and generate receipts.
  • Insurance and TPA Coordination: Coordinate with third-party administrators (TPA) and insurance companies for credit billing and claim processing.
  • Discharge and Final Billing: Prepare discharge summaries and final bills in coordination with clinical and nursing staff.
  • Reconciliation: Perform daily cash and billing reconciliation and update patient accounts.
  • Query Resolution: Address and resolve patient billing-related queries promptly and professionally.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in billing software and standard office software like Microsoft Office.
  • A customer service-oriented mindset with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with different payment methods and insurance processes is essential

Qualification and experience:- Bachelors Digree in Hospital Management (BHM)with minimum 1 yrs experience in Front Office/ Billing/ Reception required
