HMV Driver

HVM (Heavy Vehicle/Vehicle/Motor) driver's responsibilities include safe and efficient transport of goods or passengers, operating and maintaining commercial vehicles, adhering to safety and traffic regulations, maintaining accurate records, and effective communication with dispatchers, customers, and maintenance teams. Key duties involve pre-trip and post-trip inspections, route planning, loading/unloading, and reporting any issues or accidents. Core Responsibilities

• Vehicle Operation:Safely operate and navigate heavy vehicles according to road and safety regulations.
• Transport:Pick up and deliver goods, materials, or passengers to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
• Vehicle Maintenance:Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, ensuring the vehicle is in good working order and reporting any defects or issues to management.
• Safety & Compliance:Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety guidelines, and company policies, including those related to weight and parking.
• Route Planning:Plan and optimize delivery routes using maps or GPS to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Administrative & Communication Duties

• Record Keeping:Accurately record and maintain documents related to deliveries, inspections, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communication:Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
• Problem Solving:Report and resolve any issues, such as vehicle breakdowns or road incidents, to the appropriate personnel.

Cargo & Loading

• Loading & Unloading:Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring the quality and integrity of goods during transport.
• Cargo Monitoring:Record the type and amount of cargo being delivered and ensure it reaches the client on time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹15,912.00 per month
