Hitachi Storage SME - L2/L3 Only

You are looking for a Hitachi Storage L2/L3 Subject Matter Expert (SME) based in Mumbai or Navi Mumbai, responsible for managing Hitachi Mid-Range and Enterprise storages operations support. As an SME, you will have hands-on experience with storage operations such as allocation, reclaim, LUN expansion, LUN deletion, storage disk/LDEVs formatting, storage pool creation, pool expansion, pool deletion, zoning via CISCO SAN Switches, and CCI HORCM. You must also be familiar with storage replication technologies like GAD, HUR, True Copy, Local Replication, monitoring tools like OPS Center Analyzer, Hi-Track, and troubleshooting performance issues at the storage level. Your role involves managing the day-to-day administration of SAN and storage environments, collaborating with customer storage support teams, participating in troubleshooting and problem-solving, supporting storage infrastructure design and operation, maintaining storage documentation and procedures, providing Storage Area Network Configuration and Administration, and managing infrastructure events including capacity management and performance analysis. You will be responsible for preliminary problem diagnosis and documentation, coordinating with Hitachi Global Support for incident resolution, investigating and diagnosing root causes of problems, performing storage infrastructure maintenance, managing additional storage infrastructure implementation, mentoring and training junior admins, overseeing storage solution design, installation, configuration, and de-provisioning, and managing performance for SAN and storage. Additionally, you will be required to handle Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure, have exposure to operations and management activities on Hitachi Storage(s), Unified compute platforms, various Host O/S including basic cluster management, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and preferably hold a Hitachi Technical certification. This position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in handling the activities mentioned above, expertise in Hitachi storages and Brocade switches infrastructure, and the ability to provide disaster recovery solutions and business resumption testing for storage.
