Job Description

Take charge of the technical and administrative operations of the laboratory.
Oversee the calibration and maintenance of all laboratory instruments and equipment, ensuring they are serviced on time and function optimally.
Ensure daily quality control checks and the running of controls to maintain the accuracy and reliability of test results.
Coordinate with service engineers for machine maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
Monitor and enforce strict quality control protocols for all laboratory tests.
Supervision of Technical Processes and Quality control of Histopathology
Ensure accurate testing, validation, and timely release of all laboratory reports.
Maintain efficient inventory management, ensuring availability of necessary supplies while avoiding overstocking.
Provide technical guidance and supervision to laboratory technicians and support staff.
Ensure that the operational costs of the laboratory remain within the approved budget.
Prepare the laboratory for internal and external audits, including QA and regulatory inspections.
Ensuring Quality, Accuracy, Safety and TAT are maintained as per norms.
Monitoring of NABL & CAP compliances (SOPs & QCs).
Actively participate in and present at Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs and professional development activities.
