Roles & Responsibilities:

• Drive freight sales across domestic and international markets (air, sea, and road), targeting B2B clients in manufacturing, trading, and allied sectors.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand customer base and achieve growth targets in freight and transport services.
• Identify, pursue, and convert leads into high-value business opportunities in transportation, freight forwarding, and logistics solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their freight and supply chain needs and offering customized solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teamspricing, operations, customer serviceto ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
• Negotiate freight rates, service contracts, and payment terms with clients, ensuring mutual profitability and satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies within the freight and logistics industry.
• Generate and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients using CRM tools and field intelligence.
• Participate in client meetings, industry exhibitions, and trade shows to enhance business visibility and networking.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proven experience in freight sales within the transport, logistics, or freight forwarding industry is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of domestic and international shipping, transportation networks, warehousing, and customs clearance.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, freight rate structures, and documentation for sea, air, and land freight.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and presentation skills with a track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently in a target-driven environment with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
