Position: Python Developer Website: https://www.datamatics.com/ Job Location: Mumbai Job Description: Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure web applications using Python and Django frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to gather and analyze requirements. Implement RESTful APIs to integrate with frontend systems and third-party services. Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and responsiveness. Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability. Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner. Implement database models and queries, ensuring data integrity and performance optimization. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience in Python development. Strong expertise in Django frameworks. Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and integrating with frontend technologies. Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks. Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Strong understanding of software development best practices, including agile methodologies. Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and deployment platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Having SQL Server hands-on development experience of 1 year will be an added advantage. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of additional Python frameworks or libraries. Experience with asynchronous programming using libraries like Celery or asyncio. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI. Exposure to NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis. Prior experience with microservices architecture.
