Job Description

SUMMARY

Summary

As an Application Lead, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and configuring applications using Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). With a strong focus on collaboration and strategic planning, you will lead cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met, and applications are developed to meet the needs of stakeholders effectively and efficiently. This role requires a deep understanding of PLSQL, database concepts, and software development life cycle methodologies.

Experience: 6-9 years

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities

Design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements using Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).
Develop and test PLSQL code to ensure high-quality applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize application requirements.
Troubleshoot and debug PLSQL code to resolve issues and ensure optimal performance.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in PLSQL and related technologies to ensure the development of cutting-edge applications.
Run and understand basic SQL queries to update and manipulate data.
Assist in generating routine reports and dashboards.
Support data validation and quality assurance processes.
Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements.
Document query logic and maintain data dictionaries.

Requirements

Requirements:

Must - Have Skills

+ Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).

+ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL).

Good - to - Have Skills

+ Experience with Google BigQuery.

+ Strong understanding of database concepts and SQL.

+ Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.

+ Proficiency in SQL (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY).

+ Basic understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).

+ Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

+ Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Education

+ Minimum 15 years of full-time education.
