Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Senior Engineer or Assistant Manager Vehicle Integration

Lead the
vehicle integration
process across various subsystems (chassis, powertrain, electrical, body components, etc.) for two-wheeler platforms (ICE or EV).
Develop
vehicle layout, packaging studies
, and integration schemes using
SolidWorks
.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, simulation, validation, testing, sourcing) to ensure compatibility and seamless integration.
Ensure vehicle-level dimensional and functional compliance through regular design reviews.
Support prototype builds, issue resolution, and vehicle testing during development stages.
Participate in
DFMEA, DVP, and root cause analysis
to improve product reliability and performance.
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to validate design feasibility and manufacturing compatibility.
Ensure adherence to regulatory, safety, and homologation standards applicable to 2W vehicles

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or a related discipline.
5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in the two-wheeler automobile industry
(Mandatory).
Proficient in SolidWorks
with strong 3D modeling, assembly, and drafting skills.
Sound understanding of
vehicle systems architecture
and inter-component dependencies.
Experience in packaging studies, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design optimization.
Familiarity with product development lifecycle and manufacturing processes.
Strong communication, documentation, and project coordination abilities.
